"Tunnbindarna" Flat-Pack Tea Tray

This project was all started after my Mum and I walked past a couple of small trays. I agreed to make her a couple as she wanted something that would be the perfect size for carrying a couple of cups of tea. At the time I lived in Newcastle, and my Mum in the South-West so I decided that these trays were to be flat-pack, glue free, and easy to assemble, so that they could be assembled having been posted cross country. I even made sure to include an instruction sheet too, taking inspiration from a certain Swedish furniture manufacturer......
The trays themselves were laser cut from birch laser ply which I later stained, as well as also adding a layer of cork sheeting to add a non-slip surface to the trays too.
